Are you already a bike rider, and looking to boost your confidence when riding in traffic?
Do you want to start commuting to work or uni? To accompany your children to school by bike? To ride to the local shops to pick up some groceries? Or to ride and meet friends at a local cafe?
If so, consider joining this small group workshop for women, run by a female instructor.
The workshop covers:
route planning
road rules relating to bike riding
defensive riding techniques
road positioning
navigating through intersections and roundabouts
turning right
riding with trams
The first part of the training will take place in a traffic-free area where you will refine your bike control skills and discuss on-road scenarios. You will then take part in a ride on local roads to put what you’ve learned into practice.
